WE WANT INSIDE OUT IN KABUL

I am hoping to make this biggest street art project in Kabul. I need your like, maybe even your help to paste hopefully 200 photos of Afghans all over the old streets of Kabul. Take a portrait of your favourite Afghan or yourself, best to have a empty plain background and email it to me a jake.simkin@gmail.com and I will place it in the the INSIDE OUT dropbox and hopefully we get all the prints coming in September to paste on the streets of Kabul.

This project is for the people and I really want an equal amount of men and women in the images because in reality 60% of Afghanistan is women. It is an open event and will be in the old city which hardly foreigners travel so for a traveller you need to see what real Afghanistan is like and hopefully their will be a audio video treat at the end of the journey. :)

INSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. Everyone is challenged to use black and white photographic portraits to discover, reveal and share the untold stories and images of people around the world. These digitally uploaded images will be made into posters and sent back to the project’s co-creators for them to exhibit in their own communities. People can participate as an individual or in a group; posters can be placed anywhere ( WE DO IT IN THE STREETS OF KABUL), from a solitary image in an office window to a wall of portraits on an abandoned building or a full stadium. These exhibitions will be documented, archived and viewable virtually.

QUEREMOS EL INTERIOR EN KABUL

Tengo la esperanza de que este proyecto de arte urbano más grande en Kabul. Necesito que me gusta, tal vez incluso su ayuda para pegar con suerte 200 fotos de afganos todo las viejas calles de Kabul. Tome un retrato de tu afgano favorito o usted mismo, es mejor tener un fondo plano vacío y enviarlo por correo electrónico a mí, jake.simkin @ gmail.com y lo voy a colocar en el interior de la caja de reenvío OUT y espero que conseguir todas las impresiones que viene en septiembre para pegar en las calles de Kabul.
Este proyecto es para la gente y tengo muchas ganas la misma cantidad de hombres y mujeres en las imágenes, porque en realidad el 60% de Afganistán son las mujeres. Es un evento abierto y estará en la ciudad vieja, que apenas los extranjeros viajar por lo que para un viajero que necesita para ver lo que realmente es como Afganistán y espero que su voluntad sea una delicia de audio y video al final de la jornada. :)

Todo el mundo tiene el reto de utilizar retratos fotográficos en blanco y negro para descubrir, revelar y compartir las historias no contadas y las imágenes de personas en todo el mundo. Estas imágenes digitalmente subidas se harán en carteles y se envía de nuevo al proyecto co-creadores para que puedan exhibir en sus propias comunidades. Las personas pueden participar de forma individual o en grupo; carteles se pueden colocar en cualquier lugar (lo hacemos en las calles de Kabul), en una imagen de aislamiento en una ventana de la oficina a una pared de retratos en un edificio abandonado o un estadio lleno. Estas exposiciones serán documentados, archivados y se podrá ver de forma virtual
